To be honest I installed the Gold edition in a new directory and I feel that there is no need to update. I don't know for sure but can you tell me in a few words what's different between RC1 and Gold ?

I really was hoping they would add few new features to protect spam, and add better security.

They seem to have lots of better spam and security features, all the passwords have this new hashing system too

Phpbb3 has already been released and I received an email about this long time back but I have not yet upgraded my phpbb. I'm just waiting for some more addons to developed for my forums.
